Rodney started in the cat fancy in early 2005 after becoming an adopted father to two companion cats. Showing cats soon followed before moving into breeding and showing the Devon Rex in 2007 alongside his wife Sherin. They then progressed to the Sphynx in 2008 and have had great success with many Supremes, Cat of the Year and National Placings.
Their highest was being awarded Best Group 3 Exhibit in show with a Sphynx they bred at the Adelaide CCCofA Nationals in 2016 under the Prefix Manis. In 2017 they were awarded Overall Supreme Exhibit in Show at the Brisbane EKKA. Rodney has been a companion judge since 2009 and has recently become an All Shorthair Open Judge in 2022.
